Since the launch of the activity, three classic films have been shown, such as ‘Up’, ‘Ice Age’ and ‘Mr. Bean’, whose pure English dialogues, inspirational and dramatic plots impressed the students who came to watch the films.

Overall, Yang Chun, the leader of the English Teaching and Research Group, believed that it is very important for students to understand English grammar and the history and culture of English-speaking countries through the English original film show. More remarkably, the characters and dialogues from European and American literary works on the screen are very helpful for students to practice English listening.
